On July 8, 2022, our loving brother, father, and grandfather, Maurice LaMarr Daily, put on his walking boots so he could walk, without burning his feet, to find his place wherever he was supposed to be. He was born December 26, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Jessie and Ursula Daily.
Maurice was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, and a graduate Saginaw High School, Class of 1967. He loved history and could conversate in every field, yes even biblical. Reese had much love for his girls LaTongela, China, Kenadee, and his son Unceld. He would be the first to tell you he made mistakes, but the love was there. He would also quote C.S. Lewis and say, “you can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can change the ending.” Maurice loved his parents and they loved him unconditionally. He brought joy and entertainment wherever he went. Kakes, one of his regrets is not hitting the lottery so you could get out of the kitchen. He also enjoyed all sports, old school music, dressing sharp and smelling good with the best cologne. Reese loved his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Maurice, I will always love and miss you! Your big sister, Michele.
