Maurice Mcclain

Mr. Maurice McClain our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at his residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 65 years. Maurice was born November 11, 1957, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Roscoe and Malinda McClain.

Maurice was a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of ‘75. He was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie R. Hill, Jr. Maurice enjoyed walking, drinking coffee at McDonald’s, and shopping. He was a fashion stylist at the mall; Citi Trend was one of his favorite stores.

Maurice leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Kent (Lorinda Smith) McClain; sister, Carol McClain; two special nephews, Quentin and Maurice McClain; godparents, Willie (Carrie) Whitley; many other nieces, nephews, and cousins, other relatives and friends including Kenneth (Tyraunda) Reed, Patricia Sutton, Wayne Whitley, Bobby (Magline) Whitley, Margaret Stuckett, Jackie Riley, and all of his friends “family” at the AFC.

Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Malinda McClain; one sister, Mary Alice; two brothers, Roscoe Jr., and Nathaniel McClain.
