Maxine Hall-Carter (Lansing)

May 19, 1924 — January 23, 2015

Mrs. Maxine Carter was born May 19, 1924 in Marianna, Arkansas to Annie and Daniel Hall. She resided in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to Lansing, Michigan in 2000 to be with her loved ones. She passed away January 23, 2015 at her residence at the age of 90.

Maxine enjoyed singing, fishing, playing cards, cooking for others and making people laugh. She also loved and adored children; often singing to them You are my Sunshine. She was friendly to everyone and would talk to any and everyone no matter who you were. She loved sharing her many memories. Maxine was a sharp shooter, very outgoing, outspoken, spontaneous, tough and very sweet. She will be remembered as a very happy and joyful person, who impacted so many lives. To know her was to love her.
