Mazena Newson passed away Sunday, October 20, 2012. Age 43 years. She was born March 2, 1969 in Columbus, Georgia to Joseph Alan Bell and Lee Ola Moore.
Mazena grew up in Bay City, Michigan but resided in Saginaw, Michigan where she was affiliated with Greater Coleman Temple World Outreach Campus. She attended Delta College for two years where she studied to be a Dental Assistant. She was employed by Dr. Quenash until she became disabled. Mazena enjoyed sewing her own clothing line, "God's Property", participating in church activities and spending time with her grandbaby.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Matina Newson, Saginaw, Michigan, Maurice Newson, Bay City, Michigan, Johnesha Curry, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Johnathan Curry, Onaway, Michigan; granddaughter, Serenity Whiting, Saginaw, Michigan; mother, Lee Ola Moore; grandmother, Jesse Moore; three brothers, Tannan Bell, Bay City, Michigan, Ah-Shehnii Smith, Bay City, Michigan, Anthony Baber, Saginaw, Michigan; ten nieces; nine nephews; four great-nephews; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, Ronnie.
Mazena was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bell; step-father, Willie Smith; grandfather, Joseph Moore; nephew, Tannan Bell Jr.; nieces, Kylie and Talissa Bell.
