Melba Carol Garcia (Okemos)

Ms. Melba Carol Garcia passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at her residence in Okemos, Michigan. Age 62 years. She was born on October 28, 1959, in Victoria, Texas, the daughter of Adan and Pilar Garcia. 

Melba loved spending time with her grandchildren and mostly her great-grandchildren, EdyÁnna and Isaiah. She liked playing games, watching “Coco” and listening to music. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jovita Sanchez; grandchildren, Sonia Pilar Mangum, Felicidad Augustina Mangum, Jeffery Sylvester Lewis “JR”, Noelia Sanae Brossard-Morejon, and Natalia Inez Brossard-Morejon “MiniMe”; great-grandchildren, EdyÁnna Reina Hernandez, Isaiah Charles Dumont, and on the way, Estoria; 3 sisters, Sylvia Vallejo, Sandra Garcia, and Guadalupe De Los Santos; brother, Alfonso Garcia; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends, including close, special friend, Jeremy McCubbin. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adan and Pilar Garcia; brothers, Adam Garcia, Frank (aka Carla), Ruben De Los Santos, and Armando Aguirre; sister, Frances Garcia; nephew, Bernardino Sanchez; and niece, Cynthia Gomez.
