Melissa Westen was born in Detroit on April 4, 1967 to Frank Collins and Alberta Collier. Melissa passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 53 years.
She moved to Lansing at the age of 15. She had a beautiful smile and believed in keeping a positive attitude. Melissa loved her grandchildren, music, dancing, travel and had an encyclopedic knowledge of movie trivia. She was a member of the Holt-Mason Eagles.
She is survived by her children, Michelle, Maria, Michael, Mariah, Maranda and MacKenley and her partner Reza Beha.
