Melvin McDaniel (DJ CRISS), 0ur beloved son, brother, father, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend transitioned this life Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at his residence. Age 44 years. He was born October 24, 1967 in Saginaw, Michigan to Melvin T. Redeemer Sr. and Earline McDaniel.
He accepted Christ into his life and is now resting in Paradise. Melvin graduated from Saginaw High School in 1985. He was employed at Subway Restaurant. He was a loving son and a caring father. He was a kind and gentle person who enjoyed meeting and making people smile. DJ CRISS loved music and wrestling. His love of music led him to Searching for a Star (Bill) and it was on from there. Being a DJ and entertaining allowed him to meet many people in the business. From wrestling the Wolfpack Theme was born and used during all shows. Many adopted the theme Wolfpack in Da House.
He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Aaron Swiney (Katey); one god daughter, Alexis; parents, Earline McDaniel, Melvin T. (Shirley) Redeemer; grandparents, Para Lee Redeemer, Bertha Hale (Charlie); four sisters, Mary Valentine, Kera Estes, Toyna Cooper, Memphis, TN, Pamula Redeemer, Jackson, MS; five brothers, James (Diedre) McDaniel, Saginaw, MI, Melvin, Avit, McQual Redeemer, Memphis, TN; YaKunin Redeemer, Dallas, TX; one niece, Jada McDaniel, Bay City, MI; one nephew, Zackary McDaniel, Bay City, MI; aunts, Erma McDaniel, Charlene Amegah, Helen Peters, Saginaw, MI, Leslie Harris, New York, Necola Hunter, Detroit, MI, Mable Nelson, Seattle, Washington, LaShana Henderson, Sharonda (Clarrance), Ft. Worth, TX; special uncles, Jessie McDaniel Jr., Lester Redeemer, Saginaw, MI, Derrie (Bridget) Young, Grand Rapids, MI, Richard (Nicole) Redeemer, Birch Run, MI, Thomas Redeemer, Ft. Melvin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Martha McDaniel, Owen Redeemer; aunt and uncle, Katherine & Johnny McDaniel, Frank Hunter; great grandmother, Janie William (Charlie) and niece, Sha Dreanna McDaniel.
