Melvin Roberson passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Saginaw Geriatrics Home.
Age 81 years. He was born October 9, 1930 in Bayminette, Alabama to Edna McMurting and Melvin Roberson Sr.
Melvin was retired from Grey Iron Foundry and member of UAW local 668. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Phyllis (Fred) Calloway, Irving,Texas, Melvin Roberson III, Arlington, Texas, Robin (Tina) Roberson, Laurel, Maryland, Tocquien Roberson, Saginaw, Michigan, his life partner's children that were raised as his own including a special daughter, Tracy Breckenridge, Vincent and Darrell Breckenridge, Saginaw, Michigan, Kevin (Nancy) Breckenridge, Lithonia, Georgia, father, Melvin Roberson Sr., Alabama; sister, Melvis Marion, Joliet, Illinois; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his life partner, Ruby (Shirley) Breckenridge; daughter, Karen Roberson; mother, Edna McMurting; brother, Votie R. Roberson; sister, Mildred Ball and nephew, Anthony Ball.
