Michael A Johnson

Mr. Michael Anthony Johnson passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison at the age of 49 years. He was born March 15, 1965 in Memphis, Tennessee to Johnnie and Jearlean Johnson. Michael attended Buena Vista Schools. He married Diane Johnson on January 23, 1999. She survives him. Michael loved singing, music and cooking. He especially loved spending time with his family whom he loved dearly. Family meant everything to him. Those who knew and loved him will truly miss his presence. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Diane Johnson; two daughters an two sons, ShaRhonda Johnson, Quinya (Troy) McClain, NiDerris Johnson and Bruce W. Taylor Jr.; eight grandchildren, Lazerica, Quinvontae, Alhonnda, NaShawn, Kimora, Xavier, Truth and Darius; three sisters, Betty Price-Plowden, Gail (James) Young and Mary (Ray) Peterson; three brothers, Tony Price, Link (Cecelia) Johnson, Johnnie (Lakiesha) Johnson; three uncles, Supt. B.E. Price, Ewell Price and Merrion Price; father & mother-in-law, Frank and Willie V. Johnson; four brothers-in-law, Frank Johnson, Michael Johnson, Gerry (LaTrenda) Johnson and Victor (Miriam) Johnson; many other relatives and friends including special friend and cousin, Bobby Price Jr. Bussie.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother and father, Johnnie and Jearlean Johnson. The family wishes to express special thanks to all the friends and family for the support, prayers and love shown to our family during our time of bereavement.
