Michael David Watters (Lansing)

Mr. Michael David Watters passed away May 15, 2023, at his residence, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 64 years. He was born August 29, 1958, in Twin Falls, Idaho, the son of Delbert John Watters and Lorena Elda Watters (Bartlett).

Michael graduated from Leslie High School in Leslie, Michigan, a member of the Class of 1976. He joined the United States Navy after graduating. Michael worked many years in the automotive industry, working at Aeroquip and Len Industries in Leslie. He eventually moved to Lansing, Michigan. Michael enjoyed playing softball, golf, and bowling. He excelled at bowling; he bowled a 300 game in 1994. He passed on his love of sports to his son, Michael, Jr. His first love was his family, especially his grandchildren, he loved spending time with them.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Michael David Watters, Jr.; grandchildren, Keaghan Tyler Cassibo of Leslie, Michigan, Katie Leigh Watter, Kendra Rieann Watters and cole David Watters all of Bronson, Michigan; great-grandchild, Zander Lee Yoder; siblings, Wanda (Richard) Bloomquist; Niel Watters and Cynthia Jewel; nieces, Cortney Watters, Lauren Allward, Michelle Durham, Abby Squires, Autumn Kerr and Jenna Hobart; nephews, Christopher Watters, Nathan Bloomquist, Alex Watters, David Durham and Mitch Kerr; sister-in-law, Paula Watters; many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Watters and son, Casey Watters, parents, Delbert & Lorena Watters; and brother, Delbert John Watters, Jr.
