Michael Duvall Davis

As the sun rises on the horizon, a child is born to commemorate a new life. This child, Michael Duvall Davis was born to Hayward and Ethyl Connor on November 19, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. The sun set beyond the horizon on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Michael said Goodbye to mortality and Hello to immortality as he answered Gods summoning home.
Michael received his formal education from the Lansing School District. He is known to his family and friends as Big Mike. Michael loved his family. He had a passion for cars, barbecuing, and cracking jokes. Michael was a very devoted companion, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories a loving devoted companion of 24 years, Tynesia Phifer; three children, Michael II (Iesha), Marcell, and Dolores Davis; two grandchildren, TaAliyah and MiYania Davis; four brothers, Anthony (Yvonne) Davis, Andre Davis, Duane Davis, Rodrick Howard; four sisters, Cheryl (Ricardo) Williams, Eulanda Glass, Dorothy Glass, Latina Davis; four aunts, Ruby (James) Agee, Toni Henry, Francine Henry, Iris Henry; one uncle, George Jackson; one great-aunt, Eliza Houston; special friends, Donna Fields, Don Howard, Robert Curry, Leon Rembert, Anthony Clemmons, Jacqueline Milton; many other relatives and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Florence and Wilfred Henry, paternal grandparents, Leola and Douglas Conner Sr., brother, Gregory Howard.
