Michael Jamin Fomby (Lansing)

Michael Jamin Fomby was born 22, 1980 in Lansing, Michigan to Benjamin and Vanessa Fomby, and the youngest of 5 siblings. He attended and graduated from J.W. Sexton High School in 1998. From an early age, he was reared in a home that taught him about the love of Christ., how important it was. As a member of Eliezer Temple Church, he began watching the musicians, especially the drummer and soon fell in love with the drums. At times he would beat those drums so, it was as if it was his last time, but it was all to the Glory of God.

In November 1998, he married his high school sweetheart, Anisha Marie Jackson and to this union was born 3 sons, Michael Jamin II, Lavell and MeKyale. Michael was also blessed with 4 other beautiful other children, MacKenzie, Aneita, KeMari and Christopher. Michael served his country in the US Army. He aqlso worked for Lansing Township and later at Eckhart. Michael was a faithful member of Eliezer Temple Church. He loved coaching basketball at Waverly Middle School and working out at the gym was almost an every day must for him. He went to work one day and never came home. God called him away from the struggles and perils of life for he knew Mike was tired after 38 years he needed rest.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory his wife Anisha Marie Fomby, (6) sons, Michael Jamin II, MacKenzie, KeMari, Lavell, Chiristopher and MeKyale, (1) daughter, Aneita, father and mother, Benjamin and Vanessa Fomby, God-mother Vallebeth Harriston; (3) sisters, Tori Zenetta, Keya Jacinta and Benika Maryun Fomby; (5) nieces, (3) nephews, God-brothers: Charles Maxwell, Cedrick Maxwell, Anthony Jacks, Gearl Lee, Tyrese Williams, Clevon Robertson, Ufoma Johnson, and soon-to-be brother-in-law Edmundo Finely; God-sisters: Monica, Andrea, , Tasha, Diamond Ward, Barbara Johnson, and a a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.

Michael Jamin Fomby was loved by all and will sorely be missed.
