Michael accepted Christ early in his life. When he moved to Pontiac, Michigan, Michael attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and Woodside Bible Church. He was a graduate of Lansing Everett High School, Class of 1978. He was employed at General Motors and various restaurants where he starts loving to cook, and then there was roller skating. He started rolling skating at age 16 until age 54. He called himself “Michael Jordon on wheels.” Michael had several names as the years went by. Michael received the royal treatment, massages, body scrubs, mani/pedis, etc. You name it, they did what every was necessary to help Michael. When the sisters needed more help with Michael, they were blessed with Gladys (Ree) Smith and Kim Edwards and their family who welcome Michael with open arms and the name “Mike, Mike” was given to him and we can’t forget another name for Michael, “Mighty Mike”. Michael Pittman was well-loved when he left this earthly home for his heavenly home. Michael had that SMILE and BIG laugh that his Lansing family and friends will remember forever.
