Michelle Davis-Cotton

Mrs. Michelle Annette Davis-Cotton Passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Covenant Healthcare Harrison. Age 53 years. Michelle was born August 14, 1969, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Louis Miller and Cora Mae Davis-Cox.

Michelle was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Saginaw Public Schools. Michelle, a loving wife, and mother loved her family and family functions. She enjoyed cooking, music, hanging out, and traveling with her husband. Michelle had a big heart, and a beautiful smile, and she enjoyed life. She was very outspoken and was never afraid to say what was on her mind. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Michelle leaves to cherish loving memories her husband, Craig Cotton, Saginaw, Michigan; two children, Michael Shane Davis and Shavon Milton Davis, Saginaw, Michigan; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Michay Davis; two sisters, Deborah Allen, Waldorf, Maryland, and Hermander (Jasmine) Cox, Saginaw, Michigan; one brother, Robert (Jeffery) Cox, Saginaw, Michigan; eight nieces, Ashley Jones of O’Fallon, Missouri, Tiffany Allen, Waldorf, Maryland, Destinnie Searles, Kimberly, Leah, and Emily Smith, Saginaw, Michigan, AireAuna, and Akela Petty, St. Louis, Missouri; two nephews, Antwan Allen, Waldorf, Maryland, and Jeffery Thomas-Mcintosh, Saginaw, Michigan; two uncles, Willie (Brenda) Hardy, and Leroy (Ann) Hardy, Baldwyn, Mississippi; many cousins in Michigan, St. Louis, Mississippi, and Maryland; one sister-in-law, Denise Cotton, Detroit, Michigan; three brothers-in-law, Willie Cotton, Flint, Michigan, Gary Cotton and Curtis Cotton, Detroit, Michigan; special cousin, Catisha Reed, and Larry “Shorty” Bowes; special friends, Jermaine “Fox” Surles, Gwen Surles, and Ronald Owens.

Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Mae Cox; father, Louis Miller; grandparents, Mary and James Davis Sr.; sister, Sandra Petty; uncles, Jonny, J.C., Freddie, and James Davis; aunts, Clara Williams, Joann Davis-Plowden, and Barbara Underwood; and nephew, Marco Smith Jr.
