Michelle Steward-Grice (Lansing)

Michelle Pauline Steward-Grice was born January 7, 1964, in Lansing, Michigan and passed away March 11, 2025. She is survived by her sister, Joelle, Clinton “B” Gould of Lansing Michigan and a nephew, Sam Leahy, also of Lansing, Michigan. 

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Marcia Steward, of Lansing, Michigan. 

Michelle was employed at Auto Owners Insurance Company of Lansing for the past twenty-one years. She also worked weekends at Lansing Urgent Care in Lansing for the past seven years. Michelle was really dedicated to her work and was loved dearly by her Auto Owners and Lansing Urgent Care families. 

Throughout her Auto-Owners family she was known as “Petunia”. Michelle was always looking for ways to help others. She enjoyed buying breakfast, lunch or dinner for the elderly while dining out. She also enjoyed sitting next to the water during her trips to tropical settings in Jamaica, Traverse City and the upper peninsula.

Michelle loved her fur babies too with all her heart; her cat Tank and O’Malley and she had that special bond with Breslin the bulldog.
