Michelle Parker (Lansing)

Michelle E. Parker passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 53 years. She was born August 9, 1964 to Thomas Parker and Anna Haines in Gary, Indiana.

Michelle received her formal education in the Gary Indiana School District. She relocated to Lansing, Michigan in the 90s, where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Michelle enjoyed listing to music, taking quiet walks, and cooking. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Michelle was very passionate about caring for her disabled son. She was a true believer in God, and always said, “without Him nothing is possible.”

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, one daughter, Keyanna Parker; three sons, Quiamel Robinson, Sr., Darius Lane, and Quentin Parker; grandchildren, Anessaya Robinson, Nasasya Robinson, Kemara Robinson, Quiamel Robinson, Jr., Darius Lane, Jr., Zi’Anna Lane; two sisters, Marian Haines, Lucky Parker; two brothers, Charles Haines, Ernest Warren; three aunts, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Patricia Freeman and Shelia Haines.
