Milfred Wilson, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012. Age 64 years. He was born March 7, 1948 in Berry, Alabama to Robert and Kattie Wilson.
Milfred was a 1966 graduate of Arthur Hill Technical High School where he was well known for his exceptional basketball skills. He joined with the United States Army and faithfully served his country. Milfred was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear and was a member of UAW Local 699. He was a member of Apostolic Faith Church under the leadership of District Elder James Buford.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 40 years, Jessie Pearl Wilson; four sons, Milfred Wilson Jr., Dallas, Texas, Derrick (Karen) Hatter, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Wesley Lathan Wilson, Saginaw, Michigan, Larry (Lavisha) Wilson, Augusta, Georgia; two daughters, Shawnita Lashon Wilson (William McDaniel), Augusta, Georgia, Sheree Angela Wilson, Saginaw, Michigan; four brothers, Robert (Isabella) Wilson Jr., Thomas (Bonnie) Wilson, James and Michael Wilson, all of Saginaw, Michigan; father and mother-in-law, Jessie (Fronie) Garner; seven sisters-in-law; eight brothers-in-law; stepmother, Henrietta Wilson-Low and Joseph Low; sixteen grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kattie and Robert Wilson; two brothers, Charles and William Wilson; one uncle, George Wilson.
