Millie Coston

Our beloved and great wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin, Mrs. Millie Coston, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 61 years. She was born November 1, 1960, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Cleveland Donald Sr. and Mary Lee Harris Donald.

Millie was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1978. She retired from Delphi Powertrain after seventeen years of service. Millie was affiliated with UAW Local 699. Millie was sweet, kindhearted, giving, and trustworthy. Her hobbies were shopping, reading, and playing bingo. Millie will be missed greatly by family and friends.

Mrs. Millie Coston leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 42 years, Dywane Coston; two daughters (twins), Brandy (DaVario) Garrett, and Brittiany (Daniel) Shropshire; two grandchildren, DaVario A. Garrett Jr., and Bri’Erra Garrett, mother, Mary Lee Harris Donald; two sisters, Brenda Donahue, and Janice Donald; three brothers, Cleveland Donald Jr., Ralph (Janice) Donald, and Vernon (Loretta) Donald, all of Saginaw, Michigan; godchildren, Samuel Austin, Dallas, Texas, and Sheena Austin, Grand Rapids, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; special nephew, Rodney Donald Sr., Canton, Michigan; aunts, Lula Mae Hooks, Pensacola, Florida, and Elizabeth Davis, New York City, New York; one uncle, James (Ann) Donald, Saginaw, Michigan; mother-in-law, Janie Mae Coston, Saginaw, Michigan; sisters-in-law, Shirley Long, Saginaw, Michigan Gwendolyn Davis, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Stephanie (Rick) Swilley, Bellevue, Michigan, and Doria Coston, Grand Rapids, Michigan; brothers-in-law, Larry (Tracey) Coston, Saginaw, Michigan, Jefferey (Sabrina) Coston, Ozark, Alabama, and Demetrius (Brandy) Coston, Lansing, Michigan; special friends, Sheila Austin, Ida Johnson, and Cheryl Pickett, all of Saginaw, Michigan.

Millie was preceded in death by her father, Cleveland H. Donald; father-in-law, Huey Lee Coston; brother, Michael Donald; and a few aunts and uncles.
