On December 14, 2013, Milton Palmore grew tired of fighting and surrendered to the Lord at the age of 59 years. He was born May 19, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Henry Climon Palmore and Lula Mae Weaver-Palmore.
Milton cherished his family. He loved to sing, dance, cook and fish, just to name a few of his interests. Many will remember him as the cool man who walked tall and carried a big stick, literally. The memory of Milton will live on through his family and friends until we meet again.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Audrey Cookie Palmore of Saginaw, Michigan; three daughters, LaTania and LaDonna Jones of Saginaw, Michigan and LaKesha (Jesse) Spikes of Painesville, Ohio; two stepsons, Pervell Jones and Olajuwon Young; nine grandchildren, DeMarkus Isom-Jones, Jesse II and LaNesha Spikes, LaBriana Burton, Dimitrius Jones, Tiarra Wilburn, Cynthia and Jermaine Shivers and LaDonna Jones; two great-grandchildren, MaKayla and Isaiah Isom-Jones; four brothers, Bennie Earl, Johnnie Ray (Geraldine), Henry Rufus (Eloise) Palmore and James (Ella Mae) Gordon; father and mother-in-law, Reverend Joseph and Mary Jones; three sister-in-laws and six brother-in-laws; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, Ronnie Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Palmore and Lula Weaver, one brother, Clemon Palmore and one son, Milton Palmore, Jr.
