Monte Wilson

November 1, 1978 — June 20, 2022

Beloved son, husband, father grandfather, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, Mr. Monte Edwon Wilson “Tae “passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 43 years. He was born November 1, 1978, in Saginaw, Michigan to Brenda Wilson and Eddie Donald.

Monte accepted Christ at an early age, and he attended Saginaw Public Schools. Tae was a sharp dresser who took pride in his appearance and liked nice cars. He loved his family and participated in all of his children’s activities. He was a great man, and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, Ashanti Wilson; four daughters, Montaesha Wilson, Tayonna Wilson, Montaya Wilson, and Ashantiana Knight; godchildren, Amariay Babers and Tamariay Skinner; granddaughter, Troionna Chesney, Saginaw, Michigan; his mother, Brenda Wilson; two sisters, Wendy Christian and Virginia  Dunn; four brothers, Brian (Tara) Nelson, Jerry Buss, DeQuavion Anderson, and Deedrick (Latoya) Lowe; many nieces and nephews; aunts, Wuanita Baker and Laquita Wilson; uncles, Charles and John Wilson, Jeffrey (Niecy) Wilson, Calvin (Regina) Davis, Clifford (Shawn) Davis, and Cedric Davis; special great-aunts, Elnora Davis, Teresa (Danny) Wallace, Lavern Greg) Phillips, and Jerry Sutton; special cousins, Kenneth Bracher, Tremaine and Quinten Phillips; special friends of the family, Rudy Rodriguez, John McCoy, Hudel Shrivers, Dwayne Brazil, Mark Grant, Latoya Babers and Donald Williams; mother-in-law, Donna Jackson; sisters-in-law, Sharonn and Ronnequa Clayton; brothers-in-law, Deronne Clayton, Rodney Clayton Jr., Kenny Longmire, Johnson, Demarcus, Tony, Leandrew and Devarious Laster.

Tae was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Wilson; grandfather, John Wilson; father, Eddie Donald; and father-in-law, Rodney Clayton.
