Mr. Mose Grandville Fisher “Black Bubba” passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison. Age 88 years. He was born June 15, 1929 in Greenville, Mississippi Robert Ellis and Cornelius Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan for many years. He worked for General Motors Chevrolet Grey Iron Foundry and was a member of UAW Local 668. Mose accepted Christ at an early age and followed what the Word said in Matthew 7:12, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them…” He loved everybody. Mose would take anybody in, feed them, and give them his last. He liked to dance, watch all types of sports, work on cars and houses, and be there for everyone who needed him. He will be truly missed by everyone.
Mose leaves to cherish loving memories his daughter, Marcella Lind Moore; his companion of 32 years, Charelena Buttler; seven step children, Delbert Harris, Salina Sweeney, Felicia Moore, Keith Moore, Albert Moore, William Moore, and Cliff Moore; four grandchildren, Yeteva Moore, Charmaine Moore, Lee Jamar Moore, special granddaughter, Myesha Moore, and many other grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, De’Miya McGee, Johnathan Moore, and Jamarion Moore; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; many other relatives and friends ,including special friends, Earl Boyd, Helen Randolph, and Ollie Battle.
Mr. Mose Fisher was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Ellis and Cornelius Fisher; two stepsons, Lewis Reynolds and John Moore; four sisters, Rosie Lee Franklin, Lady Bee Pierce, Mary Lee Haynes, and Bessie Mae Brown; and special friend, Clinton Williams.
