Mother Rosie Lee Bullock

Mother Rosie Lee Bullock, 93, passed away Jan 3, 2022. She was born September 10, 1928 in Henderson, Texas, the daughter of Sam Rogers and Mary Rogers.

Rosie was married to Cleotha Bullock in Yazoo, Mississippi, on September 3, 1945. Rosie and Cleotha had ten children, Charles, Bettye, Lizzie, William (Linay), and Michael Bullock, Patricia Carter, Elaine Sherley, Elliott Bullock, Laura (Keith) Bell, and Mickey Bullock. Rosie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She loved cooking, fishing, music, church, family, gardening, and playing with her grandkids. Rosie was a member of the Spiritual Israel Church & It’s Army.

Mother Bullock leaves behind 39 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rosie was predeceased by her husband, Cleotha; three sons Charles, Michael, and Mickey Bullock; sisters, Cora, Virginia, Mary, and Bennie B.; one brother, Sam Jr.; two sons-in-law, Leonard Sherley, Christopher Carter; granddaughter, Latisha Smith; grandson, Antonell Bullock; great-grandson, Stephon Mitchell, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The Family would like to give a special thank you to the pastors of Spiritual Israel, Meals on Wheels, and the hospice nurse, Dana, for their dedication and devotion to Mother Bullock in her final days.
