Darius Horrison "Beecie Fame"

Mr. Darius Horrison “Beecie Fame” passed away at St. Mary's Ascension Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan, on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Age 29 years. He was born December 8, 1994, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Bobbie “Poochie Horrison and Larry “Flip” Thomas.

Darius was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He was loved and accepted by Christ. He was a high school graduate and worked various jobs at an early age. Darius had a passion for music. He taught himself to play many instruments at an early age. DeeJay loved sharing a great meal and spending time with his family, especially with his daughter, Armani, whom he called Baby. He enjoyed watching a good movie, sitting by the water writing and performing his music. Darius was incredibly talented, competitive, humorous, fun-loving, a calm and kind gentleman, dependable and trustworthy. A great gentle man who will be greatly missed.

Darius leaves to cherish his memory his precious daughter, Armani Lane Culberson; parents, Bobbie Horrison and Larry Thomas Jr.; grandparents, Janice Reedy-Thomas and Larry Thomas Sr; three brothers, Jermaine Horrison “Dubba,” Demetrius Humes, Toronto Canada, and Gianni Love, Jackson, Tennessee; one sister, Jericca Thomas; two bonus brothers, Antorrio Barkley “Papa, and Tarrance Reynolds; one nephew, Jaece Horrison; two aunts, Ebony Horrison, and Candis Thomas; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; many other relatives and friends including the mother of his daughter, Tori Culberson; godmother; Tawanna Williams; two special cousins, Erin Murrell Jr., and Mykal Harris; and special friends, Ray, Two-G, and Jody.

Darius was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas (Sherry) Lampley, and Bobby Horrison; great-grandparents, Leroy (Virgie) Allen, and Margaret Hailey.
