Mr. Leroy Sonny Jones

Mr. LeRoy Sonny Jones departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the age of 70 years. He was born March 17, 1945 in Missouri to Erma and Oscar Jones.
LeRoy was a very active member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church under the leadership of Pastor Judith Boli where he served on the Usher Board. He enjoyed watching silent and western movies. LeRoy loved spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren. His presence will be truly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters, Lynnette Hampton, Kaneadsha Jones, Tiffany Jones and Arkeasha Burt; two brothers, four sisters and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife, LaWanda Jones, parents, Erma and Oscar Jones and three brothers.
The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone who offered kind words, prayers and condolences.
