Mrs. Diana Bryant-Mitchell

February 26, 1954 — February 27, 2020

Mrs. Diana Bryant-Mitchell was born February 26, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Rufus and Fannie Bryant. She went home to be with her Savior on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the age of 66 years.

Diana grew up at St. Luke CME Church, where she was also baptized into the body of believers. As an adult, she never lost her zeal for God and became an active member and deaconess at House of Prayer Apostolic Church under the leadership of Pastor James E. Lewis.

Diana was a student of Saginaw Public Schools and a graduate of Saginaw High School, “Class of 1972.” She was a nurturer and saw fit to be a childcare provider. She truly loved working with children of all ages and watching them grow and mature.

Outside of service to her God and her community, Diana enjoyed reading, crafting, studying the bible, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. She was truly a woman of God that walked in the fruit of the Spirit. Always caring, nurturing, giving, and smiling, Diana was an encourager and always had a word to lift you up. This virtuous wife, mother, sister and friend will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Fannie Bryant; brother, Timothy Bryant; mother-in-law, Odie Shadwick; aunt, Nettie Mae Clardy.

She leaves to celebrate her life her loving husband, Lindsey Mitchell, Sr.; five children, Deanna Bryant, Saginaw, Michigan, Kanisha and Lindsey Mitchell, both of Mesa, Arizona, Camille and Avery Mitchell, Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Kimari, Diamond, Ira III, Cameron, Mariah; sister, Brenda (William) Page, Birmingham, Alabama; two nieces, Michelle Chester, Newport News, Virginia, Ashley Bryant, Saginaw, Michigan; nephew, Tyler Carlisle, Birmingham, Alabama, Anthony Johnson, Jr.; uncle, Lt.
