Dominique Miles Goree

Mrs. Dominique Tamara Miles Goree age 37, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois. Dominique was born November 10, 1986, to Helen (Ronald) Stanback, and Larry Miles.

Dominique attended Buena Vista High School and received her G.E.D. from Education Training Connection. She married Mark Goree Jr. on January 8, 2016, in Chicago. She was excited about starting a new position at Walmart.

Dominique lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, such as chatting and spending time with friends and family, dressing snazzy and trim, cooking, doing hair, and making TikTok videos. Dominique sung in 1996 in the Y.V.O.P. at Bethel A.M.E. church choir. She was very adventurous and loved to travel.

Dominique is survived by her husband, Mark Goree Jr.; mother, Helen (Ronald) Stanback; sisters, Brittany Stanback, Saginaw, MI; Arleshia Hargrove, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Antaneisha Forte, Saginaw, MI; brother, Ronald Forte; twelve beautiful nieces; thirteen handsome nephews who she loved dearly; aunts, Darlene Smith, Texas, Jenie Taylor and Mary Winston, both of Saginaw, MI, Lucille Ingram, Shielfield, AL, and Beverly Walker; Chicago, IL; uncles, Kenneth and Robert Walker, both of Chicago, IL, and William Stanback, Saginaw, MI; mother-in-law, Bernadette Goree; and father-in-law, Mark Goree Sr; other relatives and friends including special friends and cousins, Angie Walker, Candice Walker, Irea Walker, Kimberly Smith, Tamika Walker, Carolina Woodward, Latasha Myles, Arkeyilla Myles; special niece, Sa’Bri Parker and Gabrielle Green; special nephew, Trevion Lambert, and Kameron Forte; and other friends, Ethal Harrison, Angelic Berry, Linsey King “Buddy”, and Monique Mitchel.

Dominique was preceded in death by her grandparents, Irene Walker, Thelma Stanback, Cornelious Island, Homer Bradley, and Bethia Myles, uncles, Larry and Johnny Walker, and brother, Delano Green.
