Mrs. Metasha LeFaye Scroggins-Harvey passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at her residence. Age 42 Years. She was born June 26, 1975 in Saginaw, Michigan to Delphine Grays and Lawrence Scroggins.
Metasha grew up in the Saginaw area accepting Christ as Savior at an early age. She was a very caring person who loved reading her Bible. She demonstrated her beliefs by helping the less fortunate whenever she could. Metasha married the love of her life, Tabias Harvey on May 19, 2012; he survives her. She loved writing, dancing, and was a great cook. Metasha will be missed greatly by family and friends who loved her dearly.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Tabias Harvey, Saginaw, Michigan; four sons, Demichael Coleman, Davontral Coleman, Torreyonal Scroggins, and Jawhan Hardy, all of Saginaw, Michigan; one daughter, Demesha Swilley, Saginaw, Michigan; one step-son, Terrance Robinson; three nieces; three nephews; four brothers, Kowase Scroggins, Montecon Scroggins, Lee Plowden, Jr., and Michael Williams; one sister, Mercede Plowden; four uncles, Leo (Diane) Boose, Ricky (Sandra) Scroggins, David (Shawanda) Scroggins, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Frank (Barbara) Scroggins, Grand Rapids, Michigan; five aunts, Diane Boose, Mae (Derrick) Robinson, Beatrice (Gregory) Ellis, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Doris (Milton) Dawkins, Flint, Michigan, and Shirley (Danny) Fegett, Danville, Illinois; great-grandmother, Bennie Scroggins; mother-in-law, Shirley Harvey; father-in-law, Tommie Robinson, Saginaw, Michigan; four brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; three grandchildren, Demiya, Aniya Coleman and Taylor Scroggins; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Davis Lee and Terry Donald of Saginaw, Michigan.
Metasha was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Scroggins; grandmother, Zinnie Mae Traylor; grandfathers, Conway Scroggins and W.C. Traylor; two uncles, Michael Traylor and William Traylor; an aunt, Teressa Sims; two great-uncles; and a great aunt.
