Ms. Geneva Danner was born May 13, 1922 in Milan, Tennessee, the daughter of Luther and Cassie Perkins. She passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the blessed age of 98 years.
Geneva was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Milan, Tennessee. She accepted Christ at an early age and continued her relationship with God throughout her life. She completed her collegiate studies at the historical Lane College. She was a hairdresser, health aide and Sunday School teacher. Geneva loved the Lord and was always happy to share Jesus with others, especially youth at her church.
Geneva was preceded in death by sons, Ernest Eugene Danner, Jr., Randolph Danner; parents, Luther and Cassie Perkins; sisters, Janell and Rosie Perkins; brother, Luther Perkins, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory two grandchildren, Sidney Danner, Saginaw, Michigan, Madeline Dargan, Montclair, New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Micayla and Justin Hughes; daughter-in-law, Margree Danner, Saginaw, Michigan; nieces, Margaret and Beverly Barber, both of Gary, Indiana; nephew, Tommy Carter, Illinois; other loved ones and friends.
