Ms. Tangala Lynette Williams

October 4, 1968 — September 28, 2021

Tangala Lynette Williams, 52, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on September 29, 2021 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Tangala was born in Saginaw, MI on October 5, 1968 to the late Pauline Williams. In addition to her mother, Tangala is preceded in death by her grandparents, Orletha and Willie Williams; aunts, Williatte Staffney and Deborah Derasammy-Allen; uncle, Terry Williams; niece, Johnice Clark; and a brother, Cedric Selbey.

Tangala was a loving mother, sister, and friend. Some of her passions involved cooking, shopping, and traveling. Her greatest passion was helping people. Tangala was a giver and generous person. She would never hesitate to help someone that needed it. Most importantly, Tangala loved being with her family.

Tangala is survived by her daughters, Precious Hale (Nathan), of Jonesboro, and Cloletha Williams, of Grand Rapids, MI; sons, Willie Williams, of Grand Rapids, MI, and Archie McFerrin, of Jonesboro; brothers, Samuel Williams (Cynthia), of Monroe, LA, Anthony Williams, of Fond du Lac, WI, and Antonio Vickers, of Jonesboro; sister, Kathy Abendroth, of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Tasharrie, Brooklin, Jada, Natalya, Samuel, Journi, Terry (TJ), and Adore; the aunt she called “Mom” Campanella Johnson; and host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and loved ones.



A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00pm Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home, 1629 Nettleton,Jonesboro, Arkansas. A funeral service will directly proceed the visitation at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private.
