Mrs. Muntaha Zreiqat passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 74 years. Muntaha was born July 11, 1949, in Amman, Jordan, to Issa and Tamam Dababneh.
Muntaha was a homemaker; she was a nurse in the Jordanian Military. Muntaha Immigrated from Jordan in 1974 to Detroit, Michigan. She married in 1975 and moved to Birch Run, Michigan in 1989. She was a gameshow and soap opera aficionado, and extremely blunt when speaking her truth. She loved her granddaughters dearly and was very passionate about family.
Muntaha leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Michael Zreiqat; four daughters and one son, Samer Zreiqat, Sana (Elton) Jackson, Faten (Aaron) Latimer, Fadya (James) Zreiqat, Nadia (Andy) Gales; three grandchildren, Destinee, Yasmeen, and Aiyana Willis; four sisters, Haya (Nabil) Nahhas, Ikhlas (Shaden) Dababneh, Kefa Sweiss, and Samar (Mark) Thaqi; four brothers, Tawfiq (Loraine) Dababneh, Mazen (Mary) Dababneh, Ibrahim (Manal) Dababneh, and Samer (Rozanda) Dababneh; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; one sister-in-law, Khawla Haddad; one brother-in-law, Naim Zuraiqat; many other relatives and friends including special friend, Jessica Bradburn.
Muntaha was preceded in death by her parents, Issa and Tamam Dababneh, and sister, Nuha Dababneh; mother and father-in-law, Khalil and Henna Zreiqat; sisters-in-law, Diana Zuraiqat, and Samiha Zreqat.
