Myra dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and joined the Lansing Church of God In Christ under Bishop S.E. Cole. She was united in holy matrimony to Hugh E. Williams on January 7, 1977.

For 30 years, she worked for General Motors, in Lansing, Michigan before transferring and
relocating to Atlanta, GA in 2003, with her two daughters and grandchildren. She retired in 2008. Myra is known for her adoration for her family and friends, as well as her love for the Lord. She raised her 5 children under the spiritual leadership of the late, Elder Larry M. Trice Sr./Emeritus Angeline Trice, of Pentecostal Church of God in Christ; where she was an active member of the nurses guild.
