Ned Mills

Mr. Ned Mills was born December 1, 1948 in Panola, Alabama to Curtis and Lucy Mills. He was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the age of 71 years.

Ned moved to Saginaw, Michigan in the late 1960s. He began working for General Motors Corporation Grey Iron Foundry and was a member of UAW Local 668. He worked diligently for over forty years before retirement.

Ned loved to spend his free time outside, listening to baseball games on his radio. He also loved fishing, football and spending time with his grandchildren. Our beloved father, brother, uncle and friend will truly be missed.

Ned was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Lucy Mills; sister, Helen Thomas; brothers, Frank (Elvia) Mills and Willie (Almeta) Mills.

He leaves precious memories with two children, Cordelle Mills, Erin (Deshawn) Porter; grandchildren, Janessa Mills, Cordelle Mills, Jr., Robert Thomas, III; sisters, Onner Lee (Robert) Little, Allie B. Brown, Marian Mills; brothers, James (Barbara), William (Evegelin), Bobby (Joann), Clinton (Letha), Tim (Linda), Cleveland (Brenda), Curtis (Katie), Sam (Geraldine), Bradley Mills; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
