Nicholle Triplett (Lansing)

Mrs. Nicholle Christina Triplett departed this life to be with the Lord Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with her husband and mother by her side. Age 44 years. She was born July 26, 1976, in Lansing, Michigan, to parents, Leeroy and Doris Windham.

Nicholle accepted the Lord at an early age and was an active member of Friendship House of Prayer Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan. She attended Everett High School, and later worked for the State of Michigan for several years. Nicholle was blessed with two sons, Xavier and Cameron Windham. She married her husband, Walter Triplett, on July 27, 2014.

She enjoyed being with family and friends, being part of get togethers. Nicholle loved to dance and often when growing up, would have the kids in the neighborhood put on a talent show. She loved to cook and enjoyed eating with the ones she loved. Bowling and spending time with her nieces and nephews were Nicholle’s favorite activities.

Nicholle had a radiance about her, people always gravitated toward her. Nicholle’s presence always lit up a room. She had a big heart and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile.

She leaves to cherish her memory husband, Walter Triplett; sons, Xavier and Cameron Windham; stepchildren, Shalayza and ShaQwenye Triplett; mother, Doris Windham; mother-in-law, Veretta Triplett; sisters, Tracey (Carl) Hester of Lansing, Michigan, Earshealy Windham of Rockford, Illinois, and Javon Windham of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers, Montel Winham and Brian (Lakishia) Windham, both of Lansing, Michigan; and many other relatives and friends, including special aunt, Etta Brown, and Godparents, Robert Dorty and Arma Dorty.

Nicholle was preceded in death by her father, Leeroy Windham; sister, Fortina Jackson; and grandparents, Edgar and Johnnie Mae Phillip, and Roy and Johnnie Mae Windham.
