Nicole Denise Torry (Grand Ledge)

Ms. Nicole Denise Torry passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 at her residence in Grand Ledge, Michigan. Age 43 years. Nicole was born February 22, 1977 to Robert and Sandra Torry in Lansing, Michigan.

Nicole attended school in the Lansing School District, graduating from J.W. Sexton High School in 1994. She worked for Burcham Hill Retirement Center in East Lansing, Michigan for several years.

Nicole was a sweet, quiet, soft spoken person with a beautiful smile. As a child, she enjoyed camping and fishing with her dad and siblings. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. One of Nicole’s favorite pastimes was reading. She loved to read romance and mystery novels. She also had a hidden talent that she did not reveal to very many people. Nicole could sing and was quite good.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, one daughter, Nataya Torry; one son, DeAndre Torry, both of Lansing, Michigan; one granddaughter, Natalyn Rose Wiseman; one grandson, DeAndre Joseth Torry, both of Lansing, Michigan; father, Robert (Daurice) Torry, of Grand Ledge, Michigan; mother, Sandra (Gordon) Torry, of Lansing, Michigan; two brothers, Anthony Beard, Lansing, Michigan, and Ranaildi Haynes, Shelby, Mississippi, and many other relatives and friends.

Nicole was preceded in death by her only sister, Anjeanette Beard, and grandparents.
