Nikki Squires (Lansing)

Ms. Nikki Squires passed away on October 31, 2020. Age 46 years. Born to Dennis and Linda Squires. Nikki was many things to many people. She was a daughter, sister, niece, aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Nikki was a devoted mother to her four children, Dymond, Natasha, Alan, and Brandon. She was involved in all aspects of their lives. You would always see Nikki at sporting events being their biggest cheerleader; and was an honorary mom to all the team kids. Nikki’s pride and joy were her granddaughters, Ky and Rae’Lynn. She loved spending time with them, having sleepovers and movie nights.

Nikki enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Getting together for the holidays or just a spur of the moment gathering. She was always there to listen, to lend a helping hand, and never passing judgement. Nikki had many friendships that spanned decades, as well as many that were new. She was a loyal and fierce friend, one who was always there for her loved ones. One of her favorite things to do was chat on the phone, she could do this for hours.

Nikki leaves to cherish her memory, spouse, Alan Jackson, Sr.; two daughters, Natasha Marie Squires and Dymond Leana (Kenyatta) Squires; two sons, Alan La’Von (Jabrea) Jackson and Brandon La’Von (Maryam) Jackson; two granddaughters, Kyanna Hollins and Rae’Lynn King; mother, Linda Squires; sister, Heather Squires; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends, including dear best friend, Alicia Perez.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Squires.
