Noll Jean Perkin, son of Jacqueline Kay Jones and Darwin Dale Perkin was born on March 9, 1973 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Noll confessed his faith and belief in Jesus Christ at a young age. He remained active in various church ministries throughout his Christian life. At the time of his transition, he was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan.
Noll was educated in the Lansing School System and graduated from Sexton High School in 1991. He continued his education at Lansing Community College where he completed several years of study in architectural drawing. He later pursued several employment opportunities ranging from building maintenance to janitorial positions. Throughout Noll’s life, he often lived by the saying "I came into this world in a rush, with a purpose set on overcoming any obstacle. I always went through or over.”
Noll was a man of great faith and loved the Lord. His favorite scripture was Psalm 23:1-6. He found much pleasure in serving at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church. He participated in several ministries including the choir, usher board, SON Team (Evangelism), Vacation Bible School, Praise in the Park events, Back-to-School bashes, and the Eastside Community Action Center (ECAC) community garden.
Noll enjoyed outside activities such as fishing and gardening and served as a Boy Scout as a young child and later served as a Boy Scouts of America volunteer during his adult years. He enjoyed listening to gospel music, drawing, and was an avid MSU fan. Go Green! Go White! He also loved and cherished his family. He put his love into action by dedicating his life to caring for and completing tasks for various family members on a daily basis.
Noll Jean Perkin left this earthly world on Sunday, July 15, 2018 and joined Jesus Christ in His heavenly world. He leaves to cherish his legacy, loving Mom, Jacqueline Jones, Dad, Roy Jones, Father, Darwin (Jane) Perkin; Dear Sisters, Charlotte (Rodney) Buxton, Lindsay (Matt) Martinaeu, Amber Mitchell and Sara; Dear Brother, Tyriece Mitchell; Special Loving Aunts, Diane (Larry) David and Chris Smith; other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
