Norma Jean Williams

Norma Jean Williams passed away peacefully at her home in Saginaw, Michigan, Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Age 78 years. She was born in Springhill, Louisiana to Earl Sr. and Francis McWright.
Norma exhibited the true spirit of love and giving, not only to her family but to everyone she met. She was a committed volunteer at Saginaw General Hospital and she loved gardening and bowling. Norma was previously employed by Weichmans Department Store downtown Saginaw, beginning as an elevator girl, later moving to the gift wrapping department and office personnel. Norma Williams was a member of Mt. Olive Institutional Missionary Baptist Church over 50 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 56 years, Dennis Williams; one sister, Ever Lee Payne, Long Beach, California; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law; Thelma McWright, Saginaw, Michigan, Rev. L.J. (Sammie J.) Williams, Chicago, Illinois and Herbert Williams, Saginaw, Michigan; special nieces and nephews, Tracy Davis and Edgar Payne, Long Beach, California, Casandra Dorsey-McWright and Calvin McWright, Saginaw, Michigan; many other relatives and friends including a faithful friend, Ozzie Rideout, Flint, Michigan.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Sr. and Francis McWright; brothers, Robert McWright, Otis Glenn McWright and Earl McWright, Jr.; one niece, Shirley Ann McWright; six aunts and six uncles.
