Norman (Williamston) Parisian

Norman D. Parisian of Williamston, Michigan passed away on Friday December 4, 2015 at The Willows in East Lansing, Michigan. Age 85 years. He was born on November 6, 1930 to Roy V. and Frieda Parisian.
Norm met his first love while attending school in Mason, Michigan. He and Mary Ellen Cowan married and to their union, four children were born. Norm was a bricklayer by trade and soon joined his father, in the construction business. He eventually founded his own company and remained in the business for over 50 years. Norm married Eva M. Simpson in August, 1974. He happily took on the responsibility of raising her three children.
Norm loved playing cards, having family gatherings at his home, picnics, music, traveling, boating, fine dining, playing golf and the beach. He loved a great steak, a really good burger and Schnitzel. Eva made the best raspberry pie and his sister made his other favorite, cherry pudding. Norm loved life, adored his children, and never took his friends for granted. He made a difference, he mattered, and he will never be forgotten!
He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Mary Jo (Rich) Sanders, Rebecca Parisian, N. Scott Parisian (Lisa), Kimberly Tanner, Susanne (John) Madden, Jetty (Tim) Alverson, and Kenneth Simpson; grandchildren, Nicolaus S. (Trista) Parisian, Nathan R. (Darcy) Parisian, Paul J. (Nicole) Tanner, Ashley Tanner, Callie Jo Sanders, Riley Rebecca Parisian, Shawn (Jackie) Alverson, Dereck Alverson, Kelsie Alverson; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Betsy Hovey; brothers, Phillip (Nancy) Parisian and Ben (Phyllis) Parisian; sister-in-law, Cathy Parisian; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Norm was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Eva, his brother, Terry D. Parisian and his brother-in-law, Richard Hovey.
