Nyeisha Michelle Smith, age 27, entered the arms of the Lord on Thursday, March 18, 2021. She was born August 7, 1993 in Saginaw, Michigan at Saginaw General Hospital to Eric Lamont Harvey and Michelle Smith.
Nyeisha loved to have a good time and was always the life of the party. She found God in her own time and developed a relationship with Him, which included doing her own bible studies. Everyone knows she loved listening to her oldies but goodies, eating tacos and having Sunday dinner. Nyeisha was always making everyone around her laugh. She truly loved all her family and friends. Her favorite saying was, “It’s a brand new day. I’m talking to y’all and y’al talking to me.”
Nyeisha loved taking care of others, whether it was a stranger or a family member. She had a heart of gold and her intentions were always pure. She was such a sweet soul and we will never forget all the warm memories we have of time spent with her. She is in God’s keeping but she will always be in our hearts, and she will truly be missed by her family and friends. We are all going to miss you “Chili Fry.”
Nyeisha was preceded in death by her father, Eric Lamont Harvey; stepfather, Thomas, Deshawn Larry; brother, Jerry Earl Smith, Sr.; grandparents, L.T. and Myrtis Smith; godmother, Melissa Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory her one and only daughter, Nevaeh Smith “Pooh”; her beautiful mother, Michelle Smith; one brother, Antoine Henderson; sisters, Brandi Williams, Sahara Stevenson; nephews, Jer’varis, Jerry and jaylen Smith, Jer’ Cameron Henderson, August and Armoni Williams; nieces, Kimora Rosas and Summer Henderson; many other special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friend Kandess Tatum.
