Octavia Deborah Thompson

Mrs. Octavia Deborah Thompson, age 36 years, left this life unexpectedly on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born September 17, 1985, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Larry and Antoinette More.

Octavia was the loving wife of Derrick Thompson. They were united in holy matrimony on February 14, 2014. Octavia enjoyed life, family, friends, cooking, music, and spending time with her three children. She was always there to brighten the room and lives of others. Octavia had a special, compassionate heart, and a huge sense and melodramatic personality. She will be missed and loved forever.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Derrick Thompson; two sons, Desean Roberson, and Demericka Thompson; one daughter, Diericka Thompson; her parents, Larry and Antoinette More; four sisters Bianca (Jeremey) Massey, Tashannon More, Tokesha Davis, and Takeasha More; two brothers, Devonte’ More, and Larry Davis; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends; one sister-in-law, Shameca (Devonté) Maxwell; special aunt, Cynthia Abernathy; special cousins, Erica Reed-Cobbins, and Lashawn Abernathy.

Octavia was preceded in death by Minnie and Leonard Dorsett; Lessie and John More; special uncle, Jahmal Dorsett; special friend, Antoinette Brown; and special brother-in-law, Erick Thompson.
