Olga Garcia (Lansing)

Ms. Olga Garcia “O.G.” passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 71 years. She was born Sunday, January 6, 1952, in Brownsville, Texas, the daughter of Delia Salinas.

Olga migrated to Albion, Michigan in 1974, where she met many lifelong friends. She worked at the Albion Manor and McGraw Edison for many years. Olga enjoyed playing bingo, going to garage sales, walking, and catching the Greyhound bus to visit family and friends. If you knew O.G., you knew she loved her smoke. She was the life of the party and loved to make people laugh and help others. Olga loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. O.G. will forever be in our hearts and be remembered as a loving, thoughtful and caring person.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughter, Cyndi Garcia; son, Eddie Garcia; grandchildren, Shanise Moore, Ariana Garcia, Ajinnan Garcia, and Alani Garcia; great grandchildren, Sa’mya, Camara, Dameir, Nashanti, Jemar, and Marsai; brother Ray (Olivia) Reyna; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded by her mother, Delia Salinas; sisters, Diane Salinas and Judy Lopez; and brother ans sister-in-law, Poncho (Lucy) Reyna.
