Mr. Oliver Lewis passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, at his residence in Lansing, Michigan, at the age of 61 years old. He was born in Munford, Tennessee, the son of Cassel and Bessie Mae Lewis.
Oliver was born and raised in Tennessee. He graduated high school and eventually moved to Lansing, Michigan to make a better life for himself. Oliver was employed as a factory worker and landscaper. His interests and hobbies were cooking, baking, bar-be-que grilling; he enjoyed playing dice, cards, pool, and dominos. Oliver really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his fiancé, Susan Decess, Lansing, Michigan; bonus children, Sarah Diana, Josh Diana, and Savannah Diana; 9 bonus grandchildren; sister, Bertha Pullen of Tennessee; 7 brothers, Billy Joe Lewis, Ed Lee Lewis, Dennis (Alice) Lewis, and Terry Lewis all of Lansing, Michigan, Kenny Wayne (Angela) Lewis of Florida, Carven (Janice) Lewis of Mississippi, and Lane (Zandria) Lewis of South Carolina; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Christine Lewis; brothers, Edison Mason and Robert Earl Lewis; and niece, Bessie Rodriguez.
