Ora Johnson passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at her residence. Age 92 years. She was born April 11, 1920 in Stephens, Arkansas to Wade and Dora Walker.
Ora was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Vincent McMillon. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, reading her bible and mystery books. Ora loved watching TV mysteries. She was a funny person who adored her grandchildren and loved to cook and bake. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Dorothy Whiting; three sons, Vernon (Joan), William (Ida Mae) and Steven Johnson; seventeen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Ora was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Dore Walker, one daughter, Versie Johnson, two sons, James and Lee Otis Johnson, a twin sister, Cora, two sisters, Alma and Mae Francis Walker, five brothers, Joseph, Esau, Besau, Isaac and Jessie Walker.
