Ora Lee Allen

Ms. Ora Lee Allen passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at St. Mary's of Mchigan-Saginaw. Age 80 years. She was born January 25, 1938 in Thompson, Alabama to Ora Lou Watkins Allen and Roosevelt Allen, Sr.

Ora Lee attended schools in Thompson, Alabama. She graduated from Carver High School in Union Springs, Alabama, Class of 1957. She eventually moved to Saginaw, Michigan to join her siblings. Ora Lee united with Spiritual Macedonia Baptist Church where she served until her health failed. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, cooking and playing games.

Ora Lee leaves to cherish her memories her brother, Tommie L. Allen and sisters, Mattie L. Works, Minnie Weaver, Freddie M. Harris, Glenell Allen, Cora L. Melvin and Wilmer Jean Allen; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Allen and Cheri Roberson; brother-in-law, Albert J. Johnson, Sr.; many other relatives and friends; special friends, her caregiver, Rozelia Kay Catholic, Lonnie Johnson, Patricia Brent and Sister Ruth Edward.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ora Lou Watkins Allen; father, Roosevelt Allen, Sr.; sisters, Queen Ester Stubb, Rosezelia Johnson; brothers, Frank McKether, Sr., Roosevelt Allen, Jr. and Lawson D. Allen.
