Mr. Otha Myles (Jim) our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 27, 2010 at Covenant Healthcare - Harrison. Age 79 years. Otha was born October 3, 1931 in Havana,
Alabama to James Anderson and Bessie Myles.
Otha married Delois Toatley they shared 44 years of marriage. He was employed at Grey Iron Foundry and was a union member of Local 668 for over 40 years retiring in April 1990. He loved spending time at the Marie Davis Center and was a member of the McDonalds Breakfast Club, he enjoyed playing dominoes, bid whist and traveling with Jodie Williams back to their old stomping grounds.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Delois Myles; two daughters, Bridget Dawson-Colbert, Meherin, VA, Rhoda Myles, Memphis, TN; two sons, Trent (Carmen) Myles, Ypsilanti, MI, Terrance (Kisha) Myles, Saginaw, MI; step-mother, Geraldine Anderson; two sisters, Jo Ann Anderson, Julie Anderson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Terran Myles; brothers, William, James and Pastor David C. Anderson; one sister, Sylvia Anderson; grandparents, Estelle and Cleveland Pearson.
