Otis Rivers

March 3, 1967 — October 21, 2020

Mr. Otis Lee Rivers was born March 1, 1967 in Union Springs, Alabama to Nathaniel Sr. and Ida Mae Rivers. He went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the age of 53 years.

Otis accepted Christ at a young age. In Saginaw, he was a member of Renaissance Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Dr. Nathaniel Calhoun, Sr. Whenever he would visit his home in Union Springs, he attended Haynes Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Eddie C. Jasper.

Otis was a fun-loving person, always in good spirits. He loved cooking, traveling and being with family and friends. When Otis walked in the room, you knew he was there because he would yell out “Hey Yall!” His family and friends will truly miss his upbeat personality.
