September 26, 1922 — September 22, 2013

Mr. Page Trapp, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather and great great-grandfather, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 after at Magnumcare Saginaw after a lengthy illness. Age 90 years. He was born September 26, 1922 in St. Joseph, Louisiana to Eli and Elizabeth (Brown) Trapp.
Page enlisted in the United States Army on December 9, 1945. Page received an Honorable discharge on December 8, 1948 after completing a tour of duty in France during World War II. He found and married his Dream Girl Lucille Humes . Together side by side until his end, they shared 48 wonderful years. He was a retiree of Grey Iron Foundry and was a member of UAW Local #668. Page loved the Lord, his church, family and friends. Those who knew him knew that Page could be very hard-headed at times and funny in the same sense. His famous quote was, Page Trapp before me there was none.after Im gone there shall be no more. Gone but not forgotten, his presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish memory his loving wife, Lucille Trapp; one daughter, Mary Alice Jackson of Florida; one step-daughter, Clara Jean Patterson of Pennsylvania; one brother, Tom Trapp of Illinois; one sister, Olivia (Eugene) Genwright of Illinois; a very special nephew, Daren (Juvy) Humes of Saginaw: many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family, other relatives and friends including a special caregiver to him and his wife, Luanda Canty.
Page was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Elizabeth Trapp, three brothers and four sisters.
The family wishes to express special thanks to all who offered their love, condolences, prayer and support given to our family during our time of bereavement.
