Ms. Pamela Roshell Canada was born June 15, 1964 to the late Henry Canada and Fanny Canada. Beloved mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend departed this life on January 3, 2017 at the age of 53 years, at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, Pamela was a proud graduate of none other than Saginaw High School, which she never let you forget. She was a diehard Trojan and always represented for the class of 1982 and the Sweet Sweet Black and Gold. Throughout her life, Pam touched many lives with her down to earth personality and unconditional love she showed to everyone that she encountered. This love was demonstrated through the blessing of birthing three daughters, Marlana, MarChare and Mar’Keidra, often known as “Lana Re Kei” and MCX3+P. Pam instilled in her girls that if they don’t have anyone they have each other, which lead to an unbreakable bond between her and her daughters.
In her spare time, Pam loved to travel, spending time with family and having all her kids and grandkids together. In her past time she loved to watch Chopped, Diners Drive-ins and Dives and The Real. In 2001, Pam relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where she resided until her transition.
Pam leaves to rejoice in having known and loved dearly her three daughters, Marlana (Markel) Seals, MarChare Canada and MarKeidra Canada all of Norcross, Georgia; although she didn’t birth them, she acknowledged Jimmy Foster, Markel Seals, and Cedric Thomas as her boys; four sisters, JoAnn Chism, Sylvia Vann, Barbara Pipkins, and Schandra Coates; three brothers, Everitt (Renee) Pipkins, Paul (Debbie) Miller, and Eddie (Debbie) Canada; a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including a special nephew Alfonzie “Al” Canada-Pipkins; cousins, Trent Chesney and Sharon Meredith; special friend; Veronica Stewart.
Pam was never the same after being blessed with seven grandchildren that she proudly nicked-named and leaves to cherish; DJ (Nana Man) Robinson, Kei’Mari (Nana Cat) Canada, Cedric (Nana Whiteboy)Thomas, KeiLani (Nana Phatcakes) Williams, Carter (Gummy) Seals, Jimiah (Phat Girl) Foster, Braylen (Lemonhead) Seals and two grandchildren that she acknowledged as her own; Jakayla (Nana Chocolate Cake) Williams and Markel Seals Jr.
Pam will be welcomed to Heaven with open arms by her mother and father, Fanny and Henry Canada, brothers, Robert Pipkins, Rufus Pipkins, Alfonzie Smith, Joseph Morgan and Sherman Morgan; two brothers-in-law, Calvin Chism and Roscoe Long; and special nephews, Everitt Morgan and Paul Morgan-Chism.
