Pastor Leonard Burns

Pastor Leonard Burns Sr. Saginaw, MI. Passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 64 years. He was born February 15, 1946 in Hayti, Missouri to Saint Joseph and Skiry Burns.
He was the Pastor of New House of Prayer International Ministries. Pastor Burns loved life, his wife and family. He was an anointed Gospel Preacher, singer and musician. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He was the family comedian and enjoyed fishing, farming, gardening and family board games. He had the best cherries, tomatoes and watermelons in town.
Pastor Burns leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 36 years, Diana Burns; four children Craig (Tania) Burns, Andrea (Anthony) Jones, Leonard Jr. and Deondrae Burns all of Saginaw; grandchildren, Trikina Burns, Anthony Burns, Destiny Burns, Christopher Jones, Aivanna Burns, Craig Burns Jr., Xandrea Burns, Matthew Burns, Maria Burns, Arneisha Banks, Deondrae Burns Jr., Sophia Gibbs, Martina Cisneros, Quiana Jones, Anthony Jones Jr.; five sisters, Bernice Burns, Geraldine Riley both of Chicago, IL, Ida Caldwell, Mary (James) Watson, Dorothy (Rubin) Marcelis all of Saginaw, MI; four brothers, Dan (Etta) Burns, Leon (Pastor Dorothy) Burns, both of Saginaw, MI, Robert Campbell, Grand Rapids, MI, Dewitt Campbell, Marshall, MO; nineteen nieces, seventeen nephews, five aunts; three sisters-in-law, Earnestine Burns, Chicago, IL, Donna Wolfford, Buffalo, NY, Darlene Jackson, Tampa, FL; two brothers-in-law, Milton Otis (Edith) Adams, Saginaw, MI, Larry Wolfford, Buffalo, NY; God-daughters, Lecretia Roscoe, Pastor Joanne Goshett; God-son, Ali Rogers, Kevin Jordan, many spiritual children, the New House of Prayer International Ministries church family, Brother Maurice and Sister Gloria Dillworth, Audrey Beatty, many other relatives and friends.
