Pastor Ulysses Garcia

Pastor Ulysses Medina Garcia was born November 21, 1962 in Abilene, Texas, the son of Ismael and Soledad Medina Garcia. He went from labor to reward on Saturday, January 11, 2020.

Pastor Garcia lived in Saginaw, Michigan most of his life. He was a student of Saginaw Public Schools and attended Saginaw High School through the 11th grade. He was self-employed for most of his years, working as a small engine repairman. Pastor Garcia was a member of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Roy L. Manning, Sr. and served in ministry faithfully.

In his spare time, his hobbies included fixing watches and rummage selling. His interests were serving God, going to church and spending time with his family. He was very unique and talented in many ways. Pastor Garcia was a man full of ambition, giving, and kind-hearted who will truly be missed by all.

Pastor Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Ismael and Soledad Medina Garcia; brother, Noe Garcia.

Pastor Garcia leaves precious memories with his wife, Cheryl Garcia; daughter, Ephraim Medina Garcia; son, Uriah Medina Garcia; sisters, Anna Isabel Guevara, Maria Virgina Sanchez; nieces, Eleanna Baragan, Angela Sanchez, Lucy Sanchez, Shannon Douglas, Sheryl Gaertner, Angie Berger, Jenny Swift; nephews, Pablo Garcia, Jeremy Swift, Jason Swift, David Berger, Jr.; uncle, Lupe Barrientos; thirty-five cousins; mother and father-in-law, Lillian and Robert Garza; sisters-in-law, Mary Berger, Kathy Yancer, Debbie Swift, Vicky Moening, Laurie Yancer; brothers-in-law, Theodore Yancer, Jhon Yancer, Miguel Sanchez, Rafael Guevarra, Bob Swift, David Berger, Sr.; many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Pastor Roy L. Manning, Sr., Rochelle Barrage, Delano Cook, Jr., Tony Denha, John and Janet Grim, Lessie Lyons, Terry Triplett, Daniel Davis and Rev. Eddie Williams.
